A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY…

AET France was created in Caen in January 2010 by Yohann Beaufils and Marcelo Estrada, Yohann’s associate, being as well the founder and manager of AET Systems, a company specialized in the sale and retail of hydraulic components.

The mission of AET France is to offer project management solutions for the study and industrialization of beverage dispensers.

In 2011, AET France buys DB TEST CONCEPT, a test and R&D laboratory dedicated to electrical safety and EMC testing.

In 2012, AET France acquires the design activity of company 3P and integrates the CAO and prototyping know how of 3P.

AET is then able to develop a product, from research to industrialization.
On the same year, AET decides to partner with LCIE France and joins the CB SCHEME, being then part of an international certification scheme.

In 2013, AET France joins the CB SCHEME as an Associated Certification Testing Laboratory (ACTL) and delivers their first international certificates, on behalf of LCIE.

The laboratory becomes the smallest certified body within the IECEE, with only two technicians onboard.

In 2014, and as to better serve their clients, AET sets up a laboratory dedicated to consumer tests.
On the same year, AET moves to a new building with 650m² and located in Caen, on the previous Philips premises.
AET then gathers 14 headcounts.

In 2015, AET becomes a CBTL within the IECEE, which represents the highest degree of international recognition for a certification laboratory.

In 2018, the company develops a new department for technical expertise and regulatory guidance for certification.

In 2020, and as to fulfill their development goals, AET France moves to a bigger building of 1600m².
The company sets up a new activity for the NF certification of pressure equipment, taken over from LNE.

Then, on July 2021, AET France joins Bureau Veritas within the Consumer Products Services Division.

AET France then gathers 25 headcounts.
